7th Street Storage, St. Paul’s premier storage facility, is proud to announce the NEW SERVICE OF DOCUMENT SHREDDING. Please bring in your papers and documents and we will be happy to shred them for you. We use an industrial shredder that shreds the documents into small confetti sized pieces. No longer do you have to sit over a small shredding machine and piece by piece feed it into your shredder. Nor do you have to remove the staples or paper clips. Just box or bag up the items you want shredded and bring them into our office.

Shredding is provided to all St. Paul and Surrounding Area residents. No amount is too small or too large. Our largest project so far has been 956 pounds while the smallest was just 3 pounds.

Office hours are 9am-5:30pm Mon-Sat. and 10am-2pm on Sundays. Drop off your items to be shredded anytime during our normal office hours.

7th Street Storage, in St. Paul, Gets Involved

7th Street Storage knows the importance of being active in the community.

In March, we were a collection point for the local foodshelf here in the Highland Park neighborhood. We collected over 600 pounds of food and over $100 in cash.

In July, we had a booth at the Highland Fest and had drawings for free storage, free coffee gift cards, and free gas gift cards.

On August 4th, we have been invited to participate in the National Night Out gathering at a large local apartment complex. The owner of the complex views our local services (Storage, Truck Rentals, Sale of moving and packing supplies, and Shredding Services) as a plus to assisting his residents.

In September - October, as a member of the West 7th Street Business Association, we will be a collection point for new and slightly used coats, hats, gloves for Jacob’s Coat, a neighborhood foodshelf supporting the needs of the area residents.

Although Storage in St. Paul is the main business of 7th Street Storage, we understand the importance of sustainability and support of the community needs.

Whenever you are looking for storage, several elements must be taken into consideration. First, what distance are you willing to travel to drop off or pick your items? Second, do you need the space to be heated and air conditioned? Third, what level of security do you require for the safety of your items? Fourth, what times during the day do you require access to your items? Once you have answered these questions, you are ready to make some calls to storage facilities in the area to determine which ones provide storage to meet your needs. Next, you are ready to visit a couple of the facilities to actually see the space you will rent, get comfortable with the facility and its security features, and finally visually inspect the facility for cleanliness. Welcome to the 7th Street Storage Blog. We have just created our blogging capability and hope you find our information related to storage informative and helpful when you, a family member, or friend needs some extra space.
